Look good and feel better by knowing you are helping to support people with cancer.
Style For Cancer is uniting the beauty, grooming, and style industry as a force for good. It’s an initiative of Look Good Feel Better; the only charity of its kind dedicated to empowering all people with cancer, allowing them to regain control, confidence, and a sense of self.
The Look Good Feel Better program offers free in-person and online workshops and Confidence Kits to help people with any type of cancer manage the most common physical and psychological impacts of treatment.
We are dedicated to improving the confidence and wellbeing of those undergoing cancer treatment and we invite you to join us on this mission by registering your business for Style For Cancer, or by booking your appointments at Style For Cancer registered businesses in August 2024.
For Style makers
How To Get Involved
step one
Register your business
Join hundreds of Style Makers across Australia who are making a difference. Register your business here, process your $89 tax-deductible donation, and we’ll get you set up for success.
step two
Get your starter pack
We will send you a Style For Cancer Starter Pack with everything you need to bring the initiative to life within your business, including strut cards, window and mirror decals, badges, a poster, and downloadable assets to share on social media.
step three
Access Resources
We will provide you with information to empower your team with the practical knowledge and resources needed to support clients as they navigate cancer diagnosis and treatment. Our resources will allow you to make an impact in three ways;
Physically
By providing information on skin, hair and body changes, sensitivities, and other cancer treatment side effects to consider when discussing services with clients.
Emotionally
By feeling confident to consult and approach the topic of cancer with clients in an informed and supportive way.
Socially
By allowing you and your clients to contribute to an important cause in a meaningful way through a donation from each service.
step four
Engage Your Clients
Make your business look good and your clients feel even better by letting them know you will be supporting people with cancer by joining Style For Cancer.
Ask your clients to support by booking appointments during the campaign period in August 2024.
step five
Go Live!
The Style For Cancer campaign goes live and fundraising begins within registered businesses from 1 – 31 August 2024.
How you fundraise is up to you, but here are some ideas to get you started:
Add $1 to every clients’ service fee as a donation by them in support of Style For Cancer.
Invite your clients to enjoy mini-services, drinks, and nibbles for a donation.
Host a VIP night for a donation.
Raffle a hair care, skincare, make-up or wellness prize pack or gift voucher.
Donate proceeds from the sale of a particular product.
Send an email blast and post on socials to encourage your clients who won’t be visiting your business in August to make a donation online.
During this period make sure you share content of Style For Cancer clients on your socials, and if you share this content with us, we can highlight your business on our socials too!
